37 MPG full size pick up.

Well, that's the future if this company can get the manufacturers to adopt their engine.

Higher temps also equals more power, less radiator surface, better drag coefficient. I'm sure they are desinigning cars to be throw away. Basically, just to cover warranty period and I believe they are obliged to have replacement parts for 10 years

What if you solidly inbed the 2" hitch receiver tube flush into the floor. Put a cap on it when not in need. Height of winch can be adjusted since the receiver tube is vertical Very quick set-up and removal Just putting this other idea accross, my neibour moves his fishing boat with an old snow blow...

I meant 400$/year was a ransom. 20$ is fine.... a bargain even. (By comparison). makes me wonder though. Was it all a ploy? Funny how all the pictures are there and the links still functionnal... I would never have registered with Photobucket if they asked me 20$ up front 10 years ago. Now its a bar...

I put so many pictures in so many posts, and it affected so many people and blogs. But there's no way I was going to pay this ransom

CHANGE EVERY TWO YEARS!! ESPECIALLY IF IT'S DEX-COOL

Good info on death-cool http://www.sancarlosradiator.com/dex-cool.htm "The "recommended" service intervals of Dex-cool coolant is 5 years 100K miles and in some cases 150K miles. These extended service intervals have not proven to be any thing but trouble for the consumer. In some cars, the coolant...

Sucks that it's not going as it should but the issue is with Summit and hopefully the Maggie will put a smile on your face.

Not arguing with you Paul, just making an observation about Whipple and screw compressors. They had a moment to shine and show their stuff with the Ford GT but something must have gone wrong. Why would Ford produce the Shelby GT500 with the roots m122 from 2007 to 2011 (540hp-550hp) when Whipple alr...

The Ls9 638hp/604tq has 97.4 ft-lb/L and 103hp/L @ 9.7psi

The GT 5.4L, 550hp/503tq has 93ft-lb/L and 101.2hp/L @ 11.7psi

So the GT+Whipple needed 2 extra psi for the similar output per liter.

True but I was referring to relatively mass produced cars. If Whipple was the best, they would have gotten everything after the Ford GT. Probably not as fuel efficient as the TVS and/or more expensive to produce. I do believe they are ideal for marine where the boost is high and the RPM is high and ...

http://images57.fotki.com/v139/photos/6/743956/8204293/TwinscrewRotors-vi.jpg If you look at the cross section of the 3 lobe rotor it's massive! And it's the one that rotates faster. 1.67 times faster than the input shaft. I'm sure it takes quite a bit of energy to accelerate to 15000+ rpm ( loss o...

Eton is huge and they probably design and tested their superchargers in collaboration with Ford and Gm' R&D deps.
Pretty hard for Whipple (Lysholm) to compete .

This is a good comparison TVS2.3 vs Whipple 2.3. Looks like TVS takes it under 16psi http://www.musclecarmodfather.com/forum/showthread.php?80-Twin-Screw-vs-TVS-Blower-efficiency The 2.3L Whipple is 65% efficient (most) @ 8k RPM input shaft and 10.3 psi Whipple 2.3L map For your 6L, it's 60% efficie...

And I'm not saying that Wipple is a bad design. Not at all. twin-screws have been used in indutrial compressors for ions. Lysholm brought this technology to cars and it definately works. But is it the best design? Eton Corporation improved their design and produces the TVS for companies such as: ROU...
