Re: The Random Thought Thread

So has anyone else noticed that since the server upgrade, we've become the global warehouse for Hormel? https://us-east-1.tchyn.io/snopes-production/uploads/2015/05/spam-oreos.jpg I was thinking the same thing the other night when I was on. I was like damn ever since the switch every new post is ju...

Re: The Random Thought Thread

So, does it help or hurt to get a flu shot this early? CDC says to wait, but my kids' schools are saying they must have the shots before they can go back to their dorms. I guess they will have to have two shots - one now and then one four months from now. Never had to do that before. You may can ta...

Re: NEW SERVER FOR THE PPE GM PERFORMANCE FORUM!

Assuming this is the place to report problems with the new server. Even when I check the "remember me" box, I keep getting logged out. The old forum never logged me out, and other forums using the same software don't log me out. This one, if I close the window, I'm gone. Can this be corrected? It d...

Re: Who's got some Investment Ideas?

I'm buying a lot of Galectin Therapeutics ( GALT ) right now. GALT is developing a Galectin-3 inhibitor drug GR-MD-02 (belapectin) which looks very promising for many inflammatory and fibrotic diseases. The Chairman of the Board, and largest investor, is billionaire Richard Uihlein (founder and CEO...

I don't have any experience with bonding fan shrouds. But I have bounded plastics before and I used some 3m epoxy, I scuffed up the plastic with sandpaper I think I used 40 or 60 grit on both pieces then I used super glue to position it then coated the seams completely with the epoxy. 3m makes all t...

NA is not as fun as the boosted life! Why not go with the 427 with dish pistons and later on change the cam and go boosted after you get tired of it and save more money for the turbo setup

I see a silver lining - I now work from home for the forseeable future, and if it goes well enough I might be able to wrangle a permanent work from home position. Saves me a daily 70 mile commute and 2 hours of time per day. Plus I don't have to be stuck in that hole with those people. I hope it wo...

It's according to pan, look at the pan it should have a gm # on it and Google it's capacity, it's definitely not uncommon for the gen 3 and up 6.2 to take 8qts and possibly more. If the stick came with the pan I would feel safe using the stick as reference

You could put mechanical gauges in but not sure how about the speed sensor. Oil ,water, trans temp. & fuel pressure would be as simple as installing the sensor and you may can buy a speed sensor that can read wheel speed but not sure.

The ecm is not going to be your problem, if as soon as you put the fuse in it pops you have a raw wire somewhere, if you can't find it , you can jump a piece of wire in the fuse holder for a second and see where the smoke comes from and that is where your short is.

Hello. I have a bad credit history and I understand that with a bad credit history, simply no bank will give me a loan, since they also make sure that loans can be repaid, at least presumably. And so simply they have fewer guarantees in this regard. Who can tell me top online payday loans in Louisi...

Ls swap harness

I need you guys help. I bought a 1998 s10 with a bad 4.3 but it came with a 5.3 btr cam and a new psi standalone harness. I'm going to install the 5.3 in the s10 but I think the harness is not the correct one Because I want all the factory gauges to work so a standalone harness is not going to work ...
