Re: The Random Thought Thread

Re: The Random Thought Thread

So, does it help or hurt to get a flu shot this early? CDC says to wait, but my kids' schools are saying they must have the shots before they can go back to their dorms.

I guess they will have to have two shots - one now and then one four months from now. Never had to do that before.

This has been addressed before. I'll see if I can find the thread on here. Maybe search for A/C pressure switch?

Re: Massive secondaries and fuel injection

Huh, that's an interesting concept. A proportional controller for a second throttle body. Seems like someone would have thought of that long ago. I remember hearing the secondaries coming in on my first four barrel car (Trans AM) - I had driven like a granny for the first two hundred miles just like...

I saw the watermarks, they were there. They weren't very transparent, and made it hard to see what was on the pictures. They aren't there now. Probably a Photobucket thing. I wouldn't worry about it. Yeah, they are gone now. Couldn't see the pictures very well at all. Well, the pictures look good n...

NA tuning is going to be a lot less complicated than boost tuning. Wall wetting, positive pressure maps, etc are just more things to deal with versus the standard NA. And it looks like NA is less expensive to maintain and requires less "baby-sitting" than all the additional turbo equipment will. Nev...

I think we all have a broken bolt story or two! It sucks - takes a lot of time. Some of the ones I've removed were so aggravating I kept them as souvenirs. Good luck with it

Quick question concerning camshafts and computer compatible, I found a cam that I would like to have for the engine, but when you look at the specs it says not computer compatible. Do you need to use a camshaft that is computer compatible? I'm not sure what that means. I believe you can tune any pc...
