We were supposed to Thursday night but all we got were big fluffy flakes that melted on contact. We also got some last night southeast of Tulsa, but northeast where I am, nothing. I'm glad I'm northeast of town.
Can't wait till April, we generally don't get any snow after April Fool's day. Not unheard of, but we're usually safe till the next crap season.

its been suprisingly mild this winter in the rockies here. we've of course gotten snow, but what we did get was fairly mild. I think the east coastal areas got the worst of it this year.

 East coast representing.
SO far we have gotten oner 54" this year. Thats alot for this area (Northern Virginia, DC area). Frankly, I'm sick of it Starting to get BAD cabin fever, been locked up with three kids under 8 for over a week. I found myself rattleing off lines from the Shining this morning.

No snow here in south Florida. But I'll keep a look out. It is dropping into the low 40"s though. Something like 85% of the houses don't have heat.

Generally when we get snow here in Denver it melts and is gone in 24 hours. This winter its has been hanging around, I have a patch that has been there since October. I guess I'll have some sod to replace this summer. I am getting tired of it my self, and my truck is letting me know as well. I havent driven her since October (I dont drive her in the winter as I dont want all the MagCloride all over it), and so far she's pee'd oil from the front cover and there is some that just started from the rear at the trans inspection cover. Grrrrrrrrrrrrr I do start her and let 'er run for 5-10 minutes, but I guess not often enough...... I miss driving her, and I'm getting a real itch to take a road trip to some place where its warmer and there is no snow. Maybe a trip to Arizona......

No snow here along the coast of So. Cal. Cold in the mornings like over there in Florida. Except when it is cold, we cannot go outside and pick iguanas off the trees. Tastes like chicken - not twinkies.
I hear there is a good base of snow up in the mountains. My son had a blast skiing on it.

I heard that now that Obama is snowed in at the White House that he was going to put some serious thought into combating global warming. Obviously global warming's gotten out of control.

We've had the snowiest winter on record here in DC. Might get a little bit more on Monday!
At my house we got about 20 inches in the first storm over the weekend, and another 12 or so in the second storm on Wednesday.
My back yard after the first storm:
Street leading out of the neighborhood:
Some places just didn't get plowed at all:
Power restoration during the second blizzard on Wednesday:
Sun about to rise over the Chesapeake Thursday morning:
Glad this isn't my car! This is a common sight in DC this week:

 11"
We got 11" in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. The old single day snow record for us was 7.9" and now this part of the state is "crippled" and the news reporters are covering the snow from every possible side street and acting as if we are going to die. I alway laugh everytime this happens, I'm sure you guys up north probably think 11" is nothing, but down here everyone panics. They go to the grocery store buy up all the bread, milk, batteries, etc. and then 24-48 hours later its all gone. I don't understand it none the less, but its still funny.

We've really been shortchanged in metro-Detroit. I've only pulled out the snowblower like 3 or 4 times this year. The biggest snowfall we've had was just this week, and we barely got 5". Most of the winter, so far, I've had half my grass showing through small bits of snow. But, it's a long winter up here. Maybe we will still get ours.

I've got so much snow in my yard, it's not going to be completely gone until mid-June. Cleaned my driveway so many times, I'm running out of places to make piles. We live on 5 acres!
