MAF sensor, under throttlebody?

Post MAF sensor, under throttlebody?
If I had the under hood space, would my MAF work being installed under the throttlebody? Will it work under vaccuum? You FI guys put the MAF sensors on the pressure side of the blower sometimes, dont you?

This would really clean up the engine bay for me, as well as adding some plenum volume.

My MAF sensor is descreened, I would assume that with all of the crazy vortecies(plural vortex) under the TB at part throttle and such, would a MAF sensor with a screen work better. Do you guys this would give accurate reading at all mouted under the TB.

I can engineer this to physically work, but I just dont know if the sensor can deal with being so close to after the TB.

Thanks guys

HOG

Do you have a wideband oxygen sensor? Many of the LS1 guys are having great success just dialing in their VE tables and throwing away the MAF entirely. With a separate IAT sensor this is completely feasible.
