Post Update on NAPA Ceramix Brakes
As you may recall, I posted here a couple of months ago about replacing the front brakes and rotors on my 97 GMT400 4X4, 5.7L pickup. Well, I thought an update is in order. I can't say how pleased I am with the stopping performance! Much better than I ever had with OEM pads. I also used the lower cost NAPA rotors (from China) and they seem to be doing very well. No scratch marks, etc. I had the truck in for Pennsylvania inspection and both front wheels were off. Pads and rotors look excellent. There is about 3500 miles on these by now.

So just a strong recommendation for these pads on Chevy pickups. I get a discount at NAPA because of my employer and it was about $140 for rotors and the pads.

Thanks for the update.

Add that "some" NAPA dealers will give 10%-15% off if you show them your AAA car club (towing) card.

I had similar results on my wife's Town & Country. The originals turned the wheels black within seconds (or so it seemed) from the brake dust. They were cooked in 25K so I went with Raybestos rotors and Napa Ceramic pads. Better stopping power and no dust so far. Very happy with them.

For the truck, I'm sold on Praise Dyno as I'm on my second set (I'm at 148K).
