Post What does P0122 mean?
I'm sure this was covered in the old forum but my SES light came on tonight. Superchips scanned DTC P0122. Truck has been a bit down on power and idles high when warm so I was kind of hoping the computer would come up with something to help me out. I hope it's not something expensive!

Appreciate it if someone could look the code up.

2001 Yukon 5.3

Awesome! I like it when everything makes sense and doesn't cost too much.

Thanks.

Post TB torque specs?
What torque should the throttle body nuts be tightened to? The motor is a 5.3
I had to pull it off to get at the lower tps screw.

I usually just tighten them snug with a wrench.. They don't take much torque, If i had to guess i would say between 5-8 ft pounds

I want to make sure the TB gasket doesn't leak. I know my Cadillac gets torqued to 6lb so I'll go with that unless someone has a manual.

89 lb in.

For future reference, the manual calls for removing the alternator instead of the TB to gain access to the screws. Also, if you had happened to have Electronic Throttle Control you would have had to replace the whole throttle body to get a new TPS. Bummer!

Wow, that would have sucked. I saw those options in the catalog but didn't look at the price, That has to be at least $250 instead of the $45 I paid at the dealer.
The part # for anyone's reference is 17123852
