Has anyody been watching bitcoin?
I thought it was a fad at a few dollars, been listening to it slowly creep up and now about to get on exchange and around $33 a few days ago I think.
I'm afraid it's a massive joke perpetrated by anonymous or something though so haven't bought in.
If I had when I looked into it though I would be doing pretty good right now.

I second paying the house and everything off,we did it a few years ago and it's a huge difference.
Still have to pay rent to the state in form of property tax however, still trying to find a way around that.

Two possibilities I've been watching, IMSC and MMRF. IMSC makes the only bomb scanner on the market today that meets the TSA's latest standards as it uses no radioactive materials. All existing scanners must be replaced with a scanner using the new tech within 6 months. MMRF provides portable data records that meets the new electronic medical records requirements that is apparently going worldwide. They just got approval to cover all of China. IMSC should be going up over the next 3-4 months, MMRF should take off by this time next year.

Taxman chases young millionaire
Posted By: Trudie Mason trudie.mason@cjad.com · 10/21/2013 7:44:00 AM

Revenue Quebec is chasing a young entrepreneur who owes the province nearly five million dollars in back taxes.

John Babikian is just 26-years old and very little is known about him, including how he managed to amass a 100-million dollar fortune in a few short years of playing the stocks on the internet.

The Journal de Montreal says the tax office has its eye on Babikian's two-million dollar home in the St. Dorothy district of Laval, a Bugatti Veyron and a Bentley Continental.

Neither the Veyron nor Babikian himself are believed to be still in Canada. Word it, the whiz kid investor has decamped to Monaco.

John Babikian is reported to be worth 100 millions, self made by on-line trading
Owns several exotic cars.
Owns several houses.
Had his Veyron shipped from Monaco to Montreal for the 2013 Montreal Grand Prix

Time to get back on this investment business...

Now you see, that's why I'd stop at about 10 million, and would pay the tax man his due. I don't want to be too rich, just have enough to live how I want. A Bugatti has no place in my life, but a Silverado that would blow the doors off one would. Very Happy

I just saw the Wolf of wall Street.

It's like they made a movie of Babikian posted earlier.

Bought a little more. It's already recovered half the loss. If you have solid stocks to begin with, a downturn will be temporary.

Not sure about that, the fad with bitcoin is over so kinda expect that there's a decrease.

This would be a fine time to invest in travel stocks. I just picked up some AAL. In a few months when Corona is just a bad memory, people will be flying again but OPEC's oil price war will still be going on. Currently in the 15 range, was 30ish a few weeks ago. Might hit 50s if that OPEC price war lasts long enough. Just an idea though.

Agreed. I think you could buy almost anything right now and cash in when the coronavirus scare passes.

Yep, hoping they don't go bankrupt. Neutral Can't predict the bottom so "Dollar-cost averaging strategy " is what I'll start doing next month.

Not a scare, the US will be hit hard.

So the US will soon double China's # for Covid-19 cases , now 142k vs 81k 😯

Add to that all the kids who partied during spring break, now back at home or in school. Infecting their school mates and or family.

Followed by 2 weeks incubation period that coincides with Easter and family reunions....

I'd say one month from now there will be something like 114 million Americans infected if you compound at 25% per day for 30 days🤯 .

That's like what? 35 % of the population.

That's if people don't self quarantine

Probably close to 1M dead😬 from this shit

I understand president Trump wants the economy to keep going but how can it with that many infected?

It's going to be brutal😳

I think America is in for a huge recession.

Agree it's not a trifling matter. I don't know where you live but we have been self quarantined and working from home here in michigan for 3 weeks now. Cases are still on the rise, but many counties have not a had new cases for days. I am hopeful that we will see a lessening in new cases in the next 2 weeks like the government is saying.

People just need to stay at home long enough for it to work. I guess there are so many predictions out there it's just a matter of who you believe. Definitely some worse days to come before it gets better. I prefer to keep the faith and remain positive though.
