Does it make this whine in all gears? Not PS pump because it stops when you stop rolling but the engine is still running (would still hear a PS pump whine... increase RPM while in Park or Neutral to double check if it does it or not while sitting still).

Does it do this in reverse? As you can probably tell, I'm trying to rule out transmission.

ive only gotten up to 30, so i guess 1, 2, and 3 gears
i havent done in reverse because theres no where near me to go in reverse especially when the police station is next door

here check this out
mr bertok says the whine in this video is normal but i wanna know more why the vss is vibrating so bad. enough that the camera picks up on it, turning the shaft at about 2mph
maybe its normal i dunno

Whine that increases with speed, transmission back. Whine that increases according to RPM, transmission forward. That whine sounds kinda like the whine my car has, which is the pinion bearing. A pinion bearing whine, however, doesn't come in until around 40MPH. Have you checked to see if you have fluid in the rear diff?

For sure its output shaft of trans or further back. Whatever parts are relative to rpm of driveshaft.

see how the what they are called metal fins are bent
i guess from where the reluctor ring was smashing into it
the bracket on the new one isnt as flat as the one i took out so maybe the old one was pushed in too far. when the new ones bracket being a little bent, it keeps the entire sensor going in all the way. u can kinda see how flat the bracket is in that pic.
i drove around a few miles and there was no noise horray
but what if it comes back

Weird. I guess TBI™ can cause whatever TBI™ wants to fail. This is the first time I've ever heard of a sensor causing a whine.
