Read somewhere about alternator upgrade for 98 chevy 5.7L said it was 130 amps and give the part # does someone know about this I need to replace mine

or an AD244 from a newer truck, 02-05 I think, look for the 4 pin version

Yeah I used one from a newer truck. Best part is no wiring adapter is needed
