Absolutely love this thing! Wish there was a little more storage behind the third row though. Otherwise it's pretty sweet. First time I've bought a car less than 10 years old. Wife changed jobs and previously had a company car, so didn't really have a choice. We looked at a few Tahoes but at the end of the day we just couldn't afford one. Those suckers are EXPENSIVE! We wanted something that would still have room for a third kid in a couple years. The only downside is it has the 3.6. It sure would be a lot of fun with a 5.3.

There is actually a ton of room inside. My aunt has one and I comfortably sat in the 3rd row on a long trip. It's worth noting that I'm only 5'9" though.

None of the GM suv's offer much in the back for storage.
The 5.3 would be fun, but a s/c on the 3.6 would work too.
