Post Shocking problem
Toshiba Satellite C655-S5132

My laptop has been giving me some pretty good zingers lately. Any time I touch any of the exposed metal like around the USB port and the like, I get a static-type shock. It only happens when it's plugged in, and when I'm putting pressure on it from picking it up. Anyone have any ideas what might be causing this? I'd rather attempt a fix myself than send it off as other than this the machine works perfectly. Thanks.

Check for continuity between ground prong and usb metal. Check that your electrical outlet is well grounded. If it all check out, it's your electrifying personality that is the cause in this dry winter heat...
