Sharp! It's a shame that GM doesn't give people more color choices on the Denali model. Top of the line model, and you'd think they would, but no. Genius marketing plan. Well, give us a road report now. How is that 6.2 engine? How does it ride? Is it quiet?
edit: I just was on the GMC website, and they do have more than 4 colors now available... so credit some sense back to GM then. |

I like the 6.2 but am having to adjust to traction control.
I'm anxious to see how it does towing my 19' Champion bassbooat with 200hp Evinrude. The Duramax barely knows it is back there  |

it rides smooth , it has the autoride suspension package. I played with the 6-speed trans. manual shift a little. I'm taking it to Louisiana next weekend, the drive out I10 from Houston to Louisiana will be a good place to see what she drives like

Congrats! These trucks are awesome, one of my favorite things is if you stand in the back and use the remote start they sound wicked cool on cold start.
I am interested to hear what you report back on the towing, I would bet with the air ride and the TQ of the 6.2 it won't notice the boat and you might even like towing it better with this truck. I have a buddy that tuned out some of the TQ management on his Escalade and it is insane from a stop it will smoke a front tire. his truck has the G80 so untill that breaks it holds pretty well. My boss has the Denali Yukon XL he avg's about 17-18 mpg on the HWY and mid teens city. that's not to bad for a small school bus. Sharp truck keep it clean! Joe |
