Well find me a killer deal on Intake and TB to go with this thing...MSD coil too!
Look for a Liefenger GT2 Cam
I'm just bugging you about the fact that, from the start I had suggested the L92 and had found you a nice cheap Escalade intake that would have been easy to hook up a super charger. You decided to stay with the cathedral at the time and now you bought the L92s which is fine, as they'll support huge power. And no need to get an intake, you could bolt on one of those camaro/covette intakes+SC kits from whipple...
I know that complete intake I think went less for $150...Let's do this again.
In the FAST truck intake has my name written all over it, no clearence issues with my cowl hood. Intake just looks BEASTLY!
As far as Forced Induction goes, there are so many choices at affordable prices S/C & Turbo wise. Not sure which route I am going to take tht will be another day. Not to sidetrack I am on the fence about Rear Mount Turbo Kits...just don't like them underneath my truck (Even with a Jacket and fabricated box to hide it from the elements).
None the less...the hunt begin
Intake most important
Which timing chain...summit or gm?
LS9 Cam
I am done time to start swapping

Nooooooooo..... forget the intake!
Get this:
Direct bolt on, integrated intercooler. Exactly the power output you're looking for. Just need to find one off a smashed camaro/corvette...

Thanks, pretty excited I have been waiting 3 years to have some sort of power out of my truck. 2 super chargers later...sold it all.
Guess go LS or Go home...just foolish not to do such upgrade if you have daily driver and funds. If I didn't have this website, daily driver, and really helpful pal of mine. L31 all the way.
Heads look serious...worked to all the way!

Thanks Pauly
Looks like I'll be adding this to my library:
"How to Build High-Performance Chevy LS1/LS6 V-8s" - P/N 88958786 - is a great reference source that outlines the more specific differences and interchangeability among Gen III-based engines.

Came acorss this...when looking for a set of rockers for the truck...
Now if you don't currently have a LS3/L92 setup you will need the offset intake rockers (gm part) and the rocker stands(gm part)
???
or do I need these (previously posted)

Going with an ls9 cam...do I need different pushrods or the one's from my motor will suffice?

Ok, I will order them today when I get home. I called Texas Speed Shop about ordering my kit...apparently there are different types of head studs...long, short and combination of long and short. I m going to break down one side of the motor after work see what I got. After that some serious ordering will be done thru Summit, Advanced and Texas.
Any luck on an intake?

A guy on PT.net is selling a complete intake off of a LY6. Don't list a price though. I believe this should be a square port intake. You can tell by the way the injector rail bolt mounts are on the outside of the rails.

I couldn't find it, but I did find one on CL, guy is located in NY, hopefully he contacts me back! Until then keep looking
Ordered my gasket kit and ls2 hd timing chain. This week I will be hitting the engine with degreaser and a power washer. I am keeping the heads on as I do this. Anything I should cover up besides Spark Plug Holes and where the exhaust manifolds are? I olan on keep the sensors in while I blast this thing

It would be nice to have the setup in the bottom picture. I have read some interesting information on here. Good luck with your project foreverfalcon40.

It's not so much the cam as it is the springs...
Those rockers are no good for you
