I wished I knew . I would imagIne any LS motor would work fine if you figure out the air conditioning compressor location.
You could always offer that guy less... All he could say is "no" right?
sounds like a very dependable foundation to a bullet proof powerhouse

Engine already sold, I am thinking of guetting an other 4l80 to mod.
The crazy thing is that I can pretty much get an ls engine for the price of the EFIx24 conversion kit. (complete kit with the aluminium chain cover).
Someone local to me is selling his 2001 engine for $350.
I could get that and stroke it to 403 for the price of the 383...

I know, and the optional 4.5 liter inter-cooled supercharger for the camaro is so tempting...

You know, I really want to build a SC 441 LSX strong enough to put the 'hoe in the 10's.
Unfortunately, won't be this year.
I got this zz4 block that's been squared up, align bored, torque plate honed and -.005 decked surfaced. It's got ARP all over with E-Tech heads.
A few grands more and I got a pretty healthy SC LS31.
I'll have fun with that while collecting the parts needed for the extreme build.
