I think they might have a bit of a problem with snow and ice buildup.
Plus how long would it take for the plastic or whatever it's made of to work harden and break from all the flexing? Be interesting to see how it all works out. Maybe they could start out with them on electric cars since they can only go a few miles at a time anyway.  |

I'd just hate to see the paint on the car after driving on gravel. You know some of the gravel's going to migrate inside those tires. Every time you parked in mud you'd have an out of balance tire too, until it cleaned itself. And then there's the pranks, like sawing through one or two of the spokes or chaining two tires together, to poles, ect. Or the new favorite, pouring thick paint into the spokes. And can you imagine hitting a skunk just right? Skunk in a blender all over the side. Hope your windows are up.

It gives the gophers another excape route when they run under your vehicle. A tread mill for gophers trapped in the spokes.
