To Ceramic Coat or not too...and few other questions

Post by foreverfalcon40 »

I am running LT's I know I should get those Ceramic coated...read other people do thier cats...

So yes to cats or no?

Also,

Anyone running a FMIC and BOV with the S/C set-up? Is it routed in a sense like a turbo? Is the bov vented?

I don't see a benefit in coating the cats.

What kind of s/c are you running?

Not sure on the Vortech kits, but typically the BOV is vacuum referenced so that it can do it's job & vent the excess into the atmosphere.

My ProCharger kit has a recirculating bypass valve. It is also vacuum referenced so at idle and partial throttle the valve will be open and redirect some of the air back into the intake tube.

Pics or your kit is just a figment of your imagination like that Whipple you had....

I thought that was a ProCharger kit instead of a Vortech???

I'm gonna say that most would like to get blown by the end of the year....daily, nightly, at new years, etc...

Come on...Every Sunday is Backrub and BJ day in my household! On Sunday's you never see me stay late for work. The only day I will ever pass on the OT.

Just dropped off the LT's at my powder coater. Ceramic Coated BLACK...of course!
