I forwarded this email I received to ING Direct.

From:"peter knight" <peterknight2011@gmail.com>
To:undisclosed-recipients

410 Thames Valley Park Drive
Reading Berkshire

July 19, 2011

Dear Sir,

I am Peter Knight, a Director with ING Direct Plc UK, personal funds
manager to late Mr. Yukio R. Fujiwara, a Japanese national. He
died recently along with his wife and only son, while holidaying in
Burma and flown back to England for burial. In our last auditing, we
discovered a dormant account with GBP 2,200,000.00 (Two million,
two hundred thousand British Pounds Sterling only) in his name.
During our investigations we discovered he nominated his son as
his next of kin.

All efforts to trace his relations have proved impossible. The
Japanese Embassy United Kingdom could trace any of the
deceased relations.

The account has been dormant since his death. Therefore, we
decided to contact you, to seek your consent to enable us jointly
claim the deposit/funds from ING Direct Plc UK and transfer it to
your account as designated next of kin to the deceased. With the
consent of our late client solicitors / probate lawyer, they shall
nominate you as the next of kin, sole beneficiary to the deposit/
funds. After transfer of funds to your account, you shall retain 44%,
while 54% ours, 2% set aside for expenses both parties might incur
(if any)during or after the transaction.

We have all relevant details about the deceased, which shall help
us claim the fund successfully. Your positive response will be highly
appreciated to enable us favour you with further information.

Should this transaction, be of interest to you, please contact me via
Email; peter_knight2011@live.co.uk Thanking you in advance for
your prompt response.

Yours truly,
Peter Knight
IT Director ING Direct UK
For and on behalf of the officials involved.

This has been sitting out in a field for the last couple of years... It's just a mile from the cottage. I'm wondering how crazy this thing might be? Or, is that just me that's crazy??

I did go up to check this old thing out. It is an automatic, 6 cylinder. It does NOT have the top loading axles, so not much junk value. The guy said that it ran, but the carburator is on the passenger floor pan, and there's no battery. This explains why it's still sitting in that field. If it would have had those good axles, I or somebody else would have bought it I'm sure. Sell those and scrap the rest for a nice profit.

Horrible news... Kenny Rogers Roasters has pretty much left the US. They made the best chicken ever. When I was in Maryland they opened right next to a KFC, and within a month the KFC was out of business. People would park in the KFC lot and walk to the Kenny Rogers chicken. I regularly went in and waited an hour to buy a couple of birds and the sides. The only reason I stopped was I moved about 1000 miles away from them. It was a bit too far to commute. I was really hoping they'd expand to the midwest, now I see it's not to be. Now excuse me, I have to go cry for a while.

I like to go to google.com and type random crap under image search. I don't even look at the keyboard. I find some really wierd stuff there, like this site. I THOUGHT I was going to be looking at info on a Russian SU-47 fighter jet with forward swept wings. What it turned out to be is this.

We are invited to go to a friends cottage for the weekend. We've known about this for more than a month. I packed all my clothes and gear to go inside of 15 minutes, made sandwiches and coffee. My wife began her packing two days ago, said she was ready last night and we'd hit the road when she got home from work at 3:30. It's now 5:30. She still isn't ready. Mad Mad Mad

Oh noes! A hotel I never heard of says they mischarged my reservation. They sent me a form to get the mischarge corrected. Should I just jump right in this filling out all the forms they sent me, or post their message on my favorite message board for laughs? Hmm, what to do what to do... I mean, it's obvious it's legit, you can tell by the impeccable grammar used...

http://www.greencarreports.com/news/1044209_now-we-know-2011-chevrolet-volt-will-get-50-mpg-in-gas-mode

Chevy Volt, 40 miles battery range, 50MPG in gas mode. Designed as an econobox, 8.3 second 0-60. 4 passenger capacity.
BMW i8, 20 miles of battery range, 78MPG in gas mode. Designed as a sports car, 5.4 second 0-60. 4 passenger capacity.

If they'd dump the battery range, we'd be seeing 100+MPG and 4 second 0-60.

Battery cars are worthless. I learend that with my RC hcars 20 years ago! A 20 mile range come on, whats the point. My daily commute is 19 miles each way and if I sit in traffic I'd be out of charge, not to mention if I have to run errands over the noon hour. Think of all the batteries that you will have to do something with when they wear out in 5 years, not to mention all that wasted energy transporting all that weight. At least with gas it get lighter as you go, batteries dont change weight when they run out of charge.

Oh by the way, all those CFL's Obama is forcing us to buy, I toss them right in the regular 'ole trash when they go..... They dont work very well for outside porch lights when it gets cold here in Colorado, they make it about 6-8 months then Poof!!!

In the case of these two cars, they are serial hybrids with enough batteries to provide electric-only range. After you drive 20 miles on electric only, the generator kicks in and you keep going. My point is that if they'd eliminate the battery only range and build them to run the generator at all times, they could eliminate the battery pack's weight which reduces vehicle weight which allows for a smaller motor which allows for a smaller genset. Once you recalculate the power needed to maintain the same performance without the battery pack as you have with, then you'd have a serial hybrid bringing down about 100MPG and still have 0-60 times in the sub 6 second range and be able to travel as far as your gas tank can carry you.

The cars that are 100 percent electric are being built with a range of at least 100 miles, which for me would be 5 trips to work or one trip to Tulsa provided I drove to one destination, then turned right around and went home.
