Guys,

What do you think about the new truck wheel well openings? They look way more square to me than the earlier versions, and they seem way too big. I've seen several lately and they look like they are missing metal. My old Suburban was kinda squared off, but nothing like these new ones.

So, what say you?

I'm personally not a big fan of the squared wheel wells. They just dont look right to me. The 80's thru early 2000's trucks looked good either lifted with big tires or lowered with bigger wheels. But the new style squared opening just seem off. Maybe we're crazy.

They do look way to big, but they really aren't wide enough at the bottoms to stuff larger tires in them.

That's what is so strange about them. When the trucks get lifted for bigger tires, the square openings just look really odd - like someone forgot to put in some sheet metal. To me, the huge square openings just make no sense at all.....
