Went to Mom's for Christmas dinner. My brother brought along his Taurus .454 Raging Bull and a Smith and Wesson 9MM Saturday Night Special. The 9MM wasn't too bad for a poorly made POS pistol but the .454 had a hard kick even with the rubber cushion grip. We were using a one foot diameter, two foot long fireplace log (not sure if it was oak or pine) for a target. The bullets were going clean through the log and into the log pile behind it. It's a nice status gun, but not something I'd want for a regular use weapon. Didn't take any of my weapons, didn't know there would be any shooting today.
