see I don't get that world record stuff with production trucks - I think the only reason it got that is because they didn't put a speed limiter in it. Period. You really think im on par with a an SRT10? hell no. a stock 4.8L w/ 4.10 gears and 32" tires and bolt ons with LS1edited features. i didnt m...

I'd just replace them. your due anyways. Synthetic goes and eats away at any build up of old oil.and thats what happened. I always ran synthetic in my '01. and around 35k when i switched out my gears & carrier. re replaced the seals then (said they were weeping) same thing with yours, you just got a...

I'd assume since it's 8 lug - they aren't as popular. Your vast majority of people who want the bigger wheels are buying base - LS models 1500 (tahoes and silvy's) which are 6 lug. There isn't THAT big a market for 8 lug 20's by comparison to 6 lug. Chevy just thinks its a work truck anyways..why fa...

ignition boxes work like this... like they say about headers, intakes, exhaust "improves gas mileage!" depends how you drive it. Personally I've had 3 msd boxes. - depending on the vehicle, it will change the exhaust tone. It will lean the mix because you are actually getting a complete burn as it h...

Hope I'm not to late with jumping in on this one. but I only run ProComp MX-6's. I have them on my tank of a tahoe on stage 6 which is like civic tight. Handles great, never gives me any problems. ultra control under trailering conditions. On my Silverado I had edelbrocks up front and mx-6's in the ...

Since its new.. and just a gear swap. You can look at about 250-350 per axle. + parts. on average. always depends on the shop. if its low-low price be careful. It is NOT easy to install gears, and 4.10s will whine normally (only gears that don't are factory GM and even then they still -can-) my rear...

Just curious what software you used to get those figures? On my 99' Tahoe I ran EFI Live v5 and i get + 15-19% LT fuel trims, about equal. (which assumes im running lean.) vs yours running rich and removing fuel. to me both are pretty extreme. I hope its just because EFI live was built more for Ls1 ...

autozone did that to me too. and often times the seal is not set right on the tube. Make sure you remove the OLD seal in the transmission too..... often times guys dont do this. or dont realize its a seal because its metal on the outside rubber inside. it can be a pain to remove if jammed in there a...
