Little more troubleshooting here, the engine startup routine is nearly the same with the Camshaft position sensor unhooked. It still has way too much advance in timing (like before) with the sensor un ...

I took a look at the tables and changed all values that would be in the startup-idle area. These are all now nearly same as factory, but no difference on startup.
I logged EST PIDs and could only ac ...

Checking a few tolerances out on the crank sensor. The block was line bored before assembling so I want to see if this could be a factor.

PostForum: GM Performance Forum   Posted: Sun May 28, 2017 6:53 pm   Subject: Weird Cranking Spark Issue

Hopefully someone else has come across this issue. I have a problem with the PCM commanding ~80 degrees timing while cranking (verified with a timing light and the fuel shut off). Engine is very hard ...

So I put the new tune on the truck and nearly fired up and idled!! All i have done was bump up the B4343 and it pretty much runs on its own without touching the gas pedal. Run it for a few seconds unt ...

Awesome!! I will plug it in tonight and give it a try.

The tables that were off for injectors and B4343 were just being tested to see if I could restrict fuel flow when cranking.

I see where y ...

I copied over all the injector tables from the ls1 engine except for IFR. I cranked up A0008 so high because that is what keeps it in order with AFR while warming up. Which multipliers are you referri ...

Yes, injectors are flow tested to 373cc, matches, and IFR is dialed in.

Have not tried adjusting the MAF values nor have i fully switched to SD. I guess that is my gray area here.....does the MAF have effects on cranking?

Yes, have ran both RAFIG and RAFPN. Idle is pretty smooth while warming since I tweaked table A0008.

I will try running the AutoVE again to double-check my values. Would switching to speed density ...

Has anyone been successful with this type of setup?? Looks like the most difficult part of it is due to the swap of injectors. Can anyone provide any tips?
