u know what sucks
generator = 30 amp breaker
that mean even if generator is 12kwh, u only get up to 30 amps
so, AC is on, go turn on stove, flip

Sounds like you're looking at a campground or job ...

My knowledge comes from whole minutes (a whole LOT of them) of internet research into sticking a generator in a car to run an electric motor, which I've decided against doing. Determined I would ...

You want a generator to run your entire load at no more than 50 percent capacity. So, you want at least a 10KW generator if your peak load is 5KW. Gasoline is the least desirable fuel for this, dies ...

What's your expected load? What all do you want to run? Diesel, natural gas or propane? The answers to these questions and more will be answered on the next episode of... Pro.

Anyone doing them yet? Finish Line Transmissions isn't doing them, otherwise I'd be using them.

Summit and Jegs have still been OK, and Summit will price match. I've stopped doing one-stop-sells-all buying for the most part though, and just try to find someone selling what I need right now. Be ...

Considering it's paid with a credit card, it's between them and the shipper. Screw me once on a sale and I dispute the charge with the credit company. I don't care if you blacklist me, I'm not going ...

Update: Replaced the stock 265/65R18s tires with 265/70R18s, which changes diameter from 31.56 inches to 32.61 inches. This changes the equivalent ratio from 4.10s to 3.97s. The Tahoe likes this a ...

Ran it up on DD2000. I couldn't get the correct specs in, but what I could get showed 685HP@6500RPM and 608TQ@5500RPM. Therefore, DD2000 is probably not the dyno program you are looking for.

Nope, needs to fit inside a tight area. 60hz is ideal. On using a tube and a tunnel, I'll have to check and see. If it will, I can look at a stock generator.

Around 360V. Problem is finding one that isn't 18 inches or more in diameter.

Thought I'd drop a line here, since I'm not having any luck anywhere else. If you needed a generator head that makes 50KW at 1800RPM, but is preferably 12 inches but no more than 14 inches in diamete ...

I think you have a problem with your #5 injector, not a fuel pump problem. If only #5 reports the problem, only under load, and it's happened with two different fuel pumps, then I think one of your # ...

It's been a while so I may be wrong, but as I recall the intake ports on those mid-90s 454s are so small you can get your thumb stuck in one. I'd plan on replacing the heads if you want power out of ...

Nope. I bought it, then gave it to my mother to drive almost as soon as I bought it. Looks like this though. I'll be getting it back after I finish with her truck.
