Hi Guys...just buzzing by today... Clarification on the Eaton G80...it is an open diff until the centrifugal spins above 200 RPMs. Then it kicks in the clutches to become a locker Older versions had that governor set above 200 RPM and when it kicked in...to much power was at hand and grenade'ing it ...

Forgot to mention...GMT400 utility trucks had 4 wheel disc option A guy over at my old Suburban forum had a buddy who managed a GM parts department They spent a few weeks pouring over all of the options and bills of materials Ordered EVERY SINGLE part different and spent a couple weekends installing...

It is on my list, but not high anymore... Plan was/is to redo the fronts and take the front OEM disc to become the rear disc Maybe keep the OEM front calipers, but not for sure It is just taking off the drum backing plate and making a new one with mounts for the caliper of choice...gotta line it up,...

Hi Guys ! Am back after semi-retiring to take care of both parents (+12 years worth)...they are both gone now. Even divorced i the middle of that...and a GREAT thing to get rid of her...though alimony payments and they end next year!!!! Back to ask tons of question and the re-experience the comradel...
