are you sure a 6.5 pedal will communicate correctly with the 2002 TAC? my understanding was that the pedal and TAC had to be from the same application or they wouldn't work together correctly.

yeah, the valvetrain geometry can vary from engine to engine even stock engines have toleraces that can require different length pushrods, measuring is the only way to be sure. its not too hard to measure though. comp makes a very good pushrod length checking tool that I use, it was pretty cheap too...

yeah I don't think you'll have a problem, EFILive isn't super resource hungry. my little 9" netbook I use it on is only like 1.2gHz single core, 2GB ram, win XP, and it runs just fine with no problems.
